Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Procedurerma-download
|1.||A pre-approved RMA number must be requested before shipping any products back to KT&C.|
|2.||The RMA number is valid for only 15 days. A new RMA number must be requested if it cannot be shipped out within that time period.|
|3.||RMA number is to be used once and cannot be used again for a separate return.|
|4.||RMA form must be included in the package, and RMA number should be clearly visible on the outer box.|
RETURN FOR WARRANTY REPAIR
|1.||Return shipment for Repair, Replacement or Credit must be prepaid by customer. KT&C will refuse any freight collect returns if it has not been pre-authorized.|
|2.||If you are sending it in for repair, you must clearly explain the reason for the return. If there is no explanation or it is vague, KT&C will only perform basic tests.|
|3.||The products will be returned in the same condition and packaging it was received. KT&C will not replenish any screws, cables, manuals, brackets, or any other accessories if it was missing when received.|
|4.||Warranty for most products is 3 years. Please see the Warranty section for further details.|
|5.||Warranty is void if the serial sticker has been removed, defaced or altered in any way, or if the product has been modified, tampered with or the￼power board has been blown due to the usage of wrong power or improper installation.|
|6.||Warranty excludes any damages incurred from an act of nature or natural disaster.|
TERMS & CONDITIONS
This Terms & Conditions provides additional important information to KT&C chan- nel partner concerning the policies and procedures of KT&C. KT&C desires to appoint partner and partner desires to accept appointment, as a non-exclusive channel partner of KT&C’s products.
In these terms and conditions the following words shall have the following mean- ings;
- ‘Company’ means KT&C CO., LTD.
- ‘Customer’ means partners of ‘Company.’
- ‘Agreement’ means the offer of sale, specification document, price document, acceptance document together with these terms and conditions of trading which constitute the agreement between the company and the customer.
- ‘Completion Date’ means the date or dates specified in the agreement or order form between the parties, if any, or such other date as the parties may subsequently agree in writing.
- ‘Price’ means the total amount specified in the agreement or in the order form. Prices are always quoted ‘FOB Korea’ (Incoterms 2010) unless alternative agreed in advance by the company.
2. Warranty Policy
2.1 If any of the company’s products are proven to company’s satisfaction to have been defective at time of sale to customer, the company will make an appropriate adjustment in the original sales price of such product or, at company’s election, replace the defective product.
2.2 The company shall provide to customer information with respect to the company’s limited warranty extended to the original customer of the company’s products.
3. Return Policy
Except for the company’s products that are defective at the time of sale to customer, the company shall not be obligated to accept any of the company’s products that are returned. In the event such returns are accepted, the company may impose a reasonable restocking.
3.1 Return for warranty repair: If the customer is sending the defective products in for repair, the customer must clearly explain the reason for the return. If there is no explanation or it is vague, the company will only perform basis tests. Warranty excludes any dam- ages incurred from an act of natural disaster.
3.2 Return for non-warranty repair: Once the diagnosis is complete, customer will be notified of the total cost to have it repaired and returned. If customer approves the repair fees, it will need to be prepaid prior to shipping. If customer declines, the customer must pay for the shipping and handling cost to return it.
3.3 Shipment: All returned products are shipped UPS, TNT, DHL, EMS and the freight cost is customer’s responsibility. When the company returns the goods to customer, the freight cost is charged the company’s side.
